They have been eaten, used for protection or privacy, used as barriers, used for perfumes and aphrodisiacs, used to brighten a garden space, used to make clothing and ornaments, used to express joy, sorrow, love, lust, enmity and death. They have been celebrated in song, art, and poetry. Come into the world of the rose ... let's see what she has to offer.
