The Mountain View Rose Society is a fairly new chapter of the Pacific Southwest region of the American Rose Society. Our founders had a simple plan in mind: education, community service, and fun -- with an emphasis on fun. We are also trying to implement a youth program, Rose Budz, in hopes that the rose culture will be enjoyed by everyone!
Some of the society’s annual activities include pruning demonstrations for the public at local nurseries and public and private gardens during the winter months of January and February, which is pruning time in Southern California. During the summer months, social potlucks are held at members’s homes to view their gardens in a casual atmosphere.
Meetings are held the 4th Monday of the month in Moreno Valley at Towngate Community Center.
